It may already be the last few days of 2013 but a big scandal has just involved seven Korean actresses. A 'prostitution ring' was said to be existing which involves a number of Korean artists which include actresses. The scandal broke out and mentioned seven allegedly involved celebrities namely Lee Da Hae, Solbi, Jang Mi in, Hwang Soo Jung, Sung Hyun Ah, and Kayote's Shinji.
All abovementioned actresses have denied their involvement to the said ring and are keen on going after the culprit behind this whopping rumor. They are also all in the process of taking legal measures to ensure that the perpetrator will eventually go behind bars. Lee Da Hae's team, in particular, already filed a case on December 13th at the Seoul Supreme Prosecutor's Office.
On December 17th, Star M Korea, Lee Da Hae's agency, released a statement saying, "It is very unfortunate that our artist, Lee Da Hae, has been named as one of the alleged involved in the prostitution scandal which also hit other celebrities. It is certain that we will take necessary action against the person behind this rumor."
Reps from Shinji's camp have also expressed the artist's intent to take legal action as mentioned in the recent interview with Star News.
The issue on the alleged existence of a 'prostitution ring' among Korean actresses has created a major swirl of rumors which involved seven actresses which include Lee Da Hae, Kim Sa Rang, and Sol Bi. All actresses have taken measures to legally address the issue so they can likewise clear out their names.
The baseless accusation has likewise included other stars such as Go Ho Kyung, Yoon Eun Hye, and Kwon Min Joong.
The prosecution has recently disclosed that there are 3 men and 9 other women (total of 12 persons) who have already been indicated but without detention for charges involving prostitutions or setting rendezvous between women and wealthy personalities. Women are said to celebrity hopefuls while the 'broker' in male stylist in his 30s.
Initially, there were 8 celebrities which were investigated on top of the 12 individuals but were eventually cleared out.
